Randy

Randy Randy is a classically trained chef and is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. Randy left an impressive 30 year career in the food service industry in various venues in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey, serving as a Chef Instructor, Food Service Director, Executive Chef and Food Sales Manager. Randy has also earned a BS in Marketing from Alvernia University, Reading, PA where he is the chairperson of the Berks County Chapter of the Alvernia University Alumni Association.Throughout his life, Randy has enjoyed caring for his many pets, from ducks, fish, chickens, rabbits, turtles, and dogs. Randy’s passion is loving and caring for animals. Randy is a proud supporter of the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.

Cathy

Before purchasing Happy Paws, Cathy was the chief executive of a nonprofit local tax collection agency. Previously, Cathy served on the board of directors of a local credit union and was actively involved in the local business community. Cathy earned a BA in Business Administration/Finance and an AS in Personnel Management from Alvernia College (now Alvernia University), Reading, PA. Cathy is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and has also demonstrated core competencies in Human Resource Management by earning her designation as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Cathy is an active member of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce and participates in one of the Chamber Connects Group. Cathy is also an active member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Cathy’s first love is animals and she is thrilled to be co-owner of Happy Paws with her husband, Randy. Cathy is a proud supporter of the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.

 

 



Albert

Albert
Official Mascot, Albert, was recently recruited as the PR Director. Albert joined our family in May, 2014, by way of Operation Scarlet. Albert was born on March 2, 2009 and is a SharPei/Pug mix. Albert’s hobbies are eating chicken and rice and going on early morning hill runs with his mommy, Cathy. Albert also loves riding in the back seat of the Happy Paws’ Happy Pet Taxi.

 

 


 

 


Carrie

Carrie
Carrie lives in Birdsboro with Belle, her cocker spaniel, her three cats, Shadow, Tarzan and Ranger, and her chinchilla, Big Poppa.

Carrie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Millersville University and plans on further continuing her education in the near future. Carrie loves animals and she loves to travel. Carrie also frequently donates to the Animal Rescue League and to the Speedwell Wolf Sanctuary in Lititz, PA.

 

 


 

 


Rosa

Rosa
Rosa lives in Douglassville with her husband, Dan, and their rescued pit bulls, Reyna and Rocko. Rosa recently retired from a law enforcement career and has always loved animals, especially her dogs. She enjoys hiking, reading, and is a regular volunteer at the Humane Society of Berks County. She is involved in community activities with the Women's Social Club of Berks County.

 

 

 

 

 


Shawnna

Shawnna
Shawnna went to Harcum College in Bryn Mawr to pursue a career in animal science. She was a veterinary technician for over twelve years. She did her large animal training at the New Bolton Center Hospital in Kennet Square. She specialized in emergency medicine and surgery for small animals. She is currently a mom of two, a wife, and PTO president of her children's school. She maintains a full time job remotely as a customer service representative for a large third party administrator. She has had a variety of pets including parakeets, chinchilla, turtle, guinea pig, cats and dogs. She now has her beloved Benjamin, who is a service dog for autistic children.

 

 

 

 

 


Stacy

Stacy
Stacy previously worked as a Special Education teacher and is fluent in American Sign Language. Stacy uses sign language with our Happy Paws clients and it is amazing to watch our clients respond and communicate back to Stacy! Stacy lives in Douglassville with her husband, three children, her cats and her beloved bird.
